Micotil® (tilmicosin injection)

Micotil is a proven, fast-acting, long-lasting, Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) treatment that is cost-effective for both metaphylaxis and individual pull-and-treat therapy.

  • Fast-acting, long-lasting therapeutic response.
  • Effective for the control of BRD in high-risk groups of beef cattle and dairy calves not yet showing clinical signs of the disease.
  • Effective therapy for the treatment of BRD in beef cattle and dairy calves.
  • Single-injection therapy reduces stress on the animal and requires less labor.

Regarding Micotil

  • Micotil is to be used by, or on the order of, a licensed veterinarian.
  • For cattle, inject subcutaneously. Intravenous use in cattle will be fatal.
  • Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older. Use in lactating dairy cattle may cause milk residues. 
  • The safety of Micotil has not been established in pregnant cattle and in animals used for breeding purposes
